BloodPril is a capsule dietary supplement for adults, labeled Blood Pressure Support. Each capsule holds a 500 mg blend of three amino-acid forms: L-citrulline DL-malate, L-arginine alpha-ketoglutarate and L-arginine HCL. You take 1 capsule a day with a glass of water, and the label allows up to 2. A bottle holds 60 capsules, so it lasts 60 days at 1 a day. It is not a blood pressure medicine and never replaces one. Packs cost $49 to $79 a bottle, and every order has a 60-day satisfaction window.

BloodPril is a capsule dietary supplement for adults 18 and over. It is sold as daily blood pressure support alongside medical care, never in place of it.
The label says it is made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients and distributed by Blood Pril, Lakeland, FL. This site is run by Gobloodpril, an authorized American BloodPril outlet, not the maker. See the full BloodPril Supplement Facts.
Three amino-acid forms in one 500 mg proprietary blend, listed in order of weight. Tap a card for the full ingredient page.
The label gives one total for the blend, not each amount. US rules list blend ingredients from heaviest to lightest (21 CFR 101.36), so the first one is at least 167 mg and the others are smaller.
Each one has its own page: L-citrulline DL-malate, L-arginine AKG and L-arginine HCL. For the whole formula in one place, read the BloodPril ingredients guide.
BloodPril is built around nitric oxide, a gas the body makes to relax blood vessels. Arginine and citrulline are its building blocks.
The body uses arginine to make nitric oxide. Citrulline is turned into arginine by the kidneys. In one study, oral citrulline raised blood arginine more efficiently than the same amount of arginine (Schwedhelm et al., 2008). That is why many formulas pair the two.
Those are the paths the ingredients are studied for. No study has tested BloodPril itself, so we cannot say how much it adds to them. More detail is on how BloodPril works.
Here is the plain version. Three amino-acid forms share 500 mg. The trials that moved blood pressure used grams a day, many times more. No trial of the capsule itself has been published.
Blood pressure trials of citrulline used several grams a day; one capsule's whole blend is 500 mg. (Mirenayat et al., 2018)
Three amino-acid forms share 500 mg, including the weight of their carriers. (21 CFR 101.36)
Across 11 trials with 387 people, arginine at 4 to 24 g a day lowered readings by about 5/3 mmHg versus placebo (Dong et al., 2011). A review of arginine and citrulline found modest, mixed results and little long-term data (Khalaf et al., 2019). Even at 2 capsules, the whole blend is 1,000 mg.
A smaller dose is not proof a product does nothing. It does mean the studies cannot vouch for it. What we can say plainly: BloodPril is one capsule a day with a short, readable label, and the habits further down this page are the ones with strong evidence. Our arginine research article walks through the trials.
Normal blood pressure is under 120/80. Nearly half of U.S. adults have high blood pressure, and many do not have it under control (CDC, High blood pressure facts).
| Category | Top number (systolic) | Bottom number (diastolic) | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | Less than 120 | and less than 80 | Keep your healthy habits and check at your regular visits. |
| Elevated | 120 to 129 | and less than 80 | Work on diet, salt, activity and weight. Recheck with your doctor. |
| High blood pressure, stage 1 | 130 to 139 | or 80 to 89 | Talk with your doctor about lifestyle changes and whether you need medicine. |
| High blood pressure, stage 2 | 140 or higher | or 90 or higher | See your doctor. Medicine is often part of the plan. |
| Severe: hypertensive crisis | Over 180 | and/or over 120 | Wait 5 minutes and test again. If it stays this high, call your doctor right away. With symptoms, call 911. |
Source: (AHA, Blood pressure readings). High blood pressure often has no symptoms at all (MedlinePlus, High blood pressure), which is why a regular reading matters.
When to call 911
A reading over 180/120 with chest pain, shortness of breath, back pain, numbness, weakness, vision change or trouble speaking is an emergency. Call 911. Do not wait to see if it goes down, and do not take a supplement instead (AHA, Blood pressure readings).

A home log shows you and your doctor what is really happening. The cuff, not the bottle, is how you judge any change.
The American Heart Association advises a validated upper-arm cuff, the same times each day and a calm, seated position (AHA, Home monitoring). One reading means little. A week of readings shows a pattern.
Start your log a few days before you try any supplement. Then you have a baseline to compare against at day 30 and day 45. Our step-by-step post on how to check blood pressure at home has more tips.
Take 1 capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water, ideally in the morning before a meal. The label allows up to 2 a day.
If you take any medicine, especially for blood pressure, nitrates or a sildenafil-type drug, check with your doctor before the first capsule.
Swallow 1 capsule with an 8 oz glass of water. The label allows up to 2 a day; do not take more.
The sales FAQ suggests the morning, before a meal. The same time each day is easiest to remember.
Keep taking prescribed medicine exactly as directed. The capsule never replaces it.
A small habit that helps
Keep the bottle next to your morning glass of water or your cuff, so the capsule and the reading happen together. More tips are on how to use BloodPril.
BloodPril offers a simple daily routine built on ingredients studied for nitric oxide and circulation. These are features, not promised results.
No powders to mix and no handful of pills. One capsule with water fits any morning.
Arginine and citrulline are the building blocks the body uses to make nitric oxide (Schwedhelm et al., 2008).
Three amino-acid forms and three other ingredients. Nothing hidden under a long list of extras.
The shell is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, so it suits vegetarians.
Every pack has a 60-day window, and even the smallest pack lasts 120 days.
What BloodPril does not do
*These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
The DASH eating plan, rich in vegetables, fruit and low-fat dairy and lower in sodium, lowers blood pressure (NHLBI, DASH eating plan). Less salt, regular activity, a healthy weight, less alcohol and medicine taken as prescribed all help too (MedlinePlus, High blood pressure).
A capsule can sit next to those habits. It cannot stand in for them. See the BloodPril benefits page for more.

Night cook here. One capsule before toast. Cuff at the clinic is still the score. I don't skip that visit. I keep it on the washer. Kept the box for the lot code.
